Money Owed Agreement Sample

Parties Involved:

Creditor: Alice Johnson
Address: 789 Maple Street, Springfield, IL 62704

Debtor: Bob Williams
Address: 456 Oak Avenue, Springfield, IL 62705

Amount and Terms of Debt:

The debtor agrees to repay the creditor the total amount of $5,000. Repayment shall be made in installments of $500 each, due on the 15th of each month, beginning on __________________ and ending on __________________. Payments can be made via check, electronic transfer, or other mutually agreed methods.

Security or Collateral:

This agreement is secured by the debtor’s personal property located at the debtor’s residence. The creditor may claim collateral if payments are not received as scheduled.

Obligations of the Parties:

The debtor agrees to make all payments as outlined and keep the debt current. The creditor agrees to provide receipts for each payment and not to pursue legal action prematurely.

Governing Law:
